Easter 2009

I intended to post when my baby girl turned 10 months and now she's about to turn 11 months on the 30th! It's been too long since I last updated!

Here are some shots I took of her in "Dr. Bertrand really delivers" shirt and her spring break outfit as well!

We had a great Easter this year! We went on an egg hunt with Cam and Aunt Taren in The Shores. Next year will be even better! On Sunday, we went to church. It was a great service and beautifully decorated. After Lakepointe, we then headed to Dallas for lunch at Aunt Denise (NeNe). That afternoon, we went to Aunt Jan's and had an egg hunt and ate an early dinner. It was such a great holiday.

With Macey's b-day approaching, here are some things that are going on with Mace:

Saying Mama, Dada, Bye Bye
Waving Bye Bye
Holding her own bottle
Eating carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, peeled grapes, little sausages, pears, peaches, prunes, crackers, etc.
Walking!
Dances when momma sings
Curls are starting to pop up on the back of her head
LOVES carrying around socks

Catching Up!

It's been awhile! My computer is super old and SUPER slow, so I'm now uploading all my pics and trying to remember what we've done the past couple of weeks!

During Spring Break, we had a blast! Tuesday, we headed to Austin, but stopped at the Doves Nest in Waxahachie. I love that tea room and gift shop! I picked Camdyn something up for her b-day there too! Once we got in Austin, we stayed at the Radisson. That night, we went to The Oasis on Lake Travis and it was AMAZING! The view and scenery was beautiful!
On Wednesday, we headed to San Antonio, where we stayed on the River Walk at the Drury Inn and Suites. It was such a nice hotel with lots of perks! Open bar from 5-7, pop corn in the afternoons, and coupons to local restaurants on the River. We ate out and visited The Alamo. On Thursday, we shopped around and got Macey a onesie that says, "Spring Break 2009." Pics coming soon! On Friday, we headed home. A 6 hour drive home! :(
We stopped in San Marcos and got Macey a polo swimsuit, got the girls some Easter Dresses at Carters, and I got some sunglasses at Fossil. FUN STUFF! Closer to Rockwall, we stopped at The Czech Bakery in West. Because I'm partially Czech, I had to get Cream Cheese, and Apricot Kolaches. YUMMM!

Miss Ella's b-day party was fun! I brought a blanket and the girls walked/played around. It was a good time to spend with our buddies!

After the party, I got some pics of Camdyn and Macey. Mom wants some pics of them together so she can blow them up and frame them. I think they turned out so cute! They even held hands!!!!!I love that little love bug. She's such a gentle little soul.

Yesterday, we had the girls and some how, they found an airbrush Hanna Montana tattoo kit. Kendall got a guitar, I got a swirl. :) We also went to Posados with Aunt Jan, Nana, and Grandma. Macey wore her "Birdie" shirt from Aunt Tay. I've always called Macey "Birdie" so it was very fitting! For her b-day, I'm doing a Birdie theme as well! I can't wait.

Today, we went to Church, and I got some pics of the girls together. Kendall's outfit was to die for! Those sisters have become so close. I can't wait to share all of these memories together. While Macey napped today, I taught Kendall how to do a herkey and toe touch. She's going to do Pee Wee Cheerleading this fall. Derrick worked with Haley on her softball hitting and throwing skills. I tried to hit the ball a few times myself! :) Haley will be #7, so I'm going to have to get Macey a onesie made with her number on the back!

Finally, I'm looking forward to the week! School has been fun. I've got my Speech kids working on interviews and English is reading Fahrenheit 451. Kind of fun I must say! Macey gets to hang out with Emma and we get to hang out with daddy this weekend. On Sunday, the actor from, Passion of the Christ, will be at our church. I'm looking forward to that interview.

Last night, I was looking at Kelly's Korner and the link to the 8 month old boy who died in his sleep. I worship the ground my little girl "crawls" on and I can't imagine. Hug your babies tight and pray that our loved ones stay healthy and safe.

God bless and have a safe week!

Spring Break!

We are leaving tomorrow for Austin and San Antonio! I spent all day packing and we have around 5 suitcases! UGH! Derrick said that he's ready for some cerveza and margaritas! I'm a light weight. Maybe I'll drink 1/2 of one of his! :)

Because it's supossed to be 80 degrees, I got baby girl some bathings suits from Old Navy, a St. Patty's Day onesie, and a spring onesie. She modeled one of the bathing suits for me today because I needed to make sure they fit and get them washed. SO cute.

Yesterday, we ate at mom's and I got some pics of Cam and Macey. They didn't bother eachother too much, but they did get around one another just in time for me to take a few snaps.

Because I'm on vacation and in that "mode," I decided to get my nails done! This is the first time to have them done since Macey arrived. I've neglected myself, as you'll see in the pictures, and I've had it! I have about 10 lbs. to lose, nails that need to be manicured, and in desperate need of sun on this pale white skin!

Taylor got her nails done with me, so we took some pics. I'm the pastey white girl, she's the bronzed beauty.

Have a good week! If you need some bebe jeans, I have some listed on Craigslist!
