Pom Poms

A couple of people have asked where I got the Poms, and Ashley and I both got them at Michaels. They come in Pink or Aqua Blue. They have accent colors with them. In the pink are: hot pink, light pink, and peach. In the blue, there are: light blue, darker blue, and green.

Party in the front, business on the sides

O.k. So after the pregnancy, my hair has been falling out. I've heard that this happens and Taren testifies to it as well.
Not only is my hair falling out, but baby girl's is as well. In regards to the mullet saying, "Business in the front, party in the back," Macey's is a little more like "Party in the front, business on the sides."
Poor things' hair is falling out on the sides, but those curls are beginning to stick straight up. In some pics, it almost looks like I'm cutting the front, straight across, but then curling the back pieces. Strange.
See for yourself.

Decor!

I'm so thrilled about my blog makeover! Jennifer designed it for me and I couldn't be happier! Thanks Jenn!

About the topic of decor, Ashley, (Macey's babysitter,) introduced me to Martha Stewart pom poms. Her daughter, Emma, has pink poms hanging from her ceiling. To add a whimsical touch to Macey's room, I went out and got the pom poms in light blue and aqua blue. I hung them from pink ribbon and attached them to the ceiling. Her room is so girlie and magical; I wish I could lay in there each morning and see the little blue poms dancing around :)
Check out the pics below. The pics don't do them justice though!
Thanks Ash for another great idea!

Church Service

This morning, we presented Macey to the congregation at LakePointe. She wore a white dress that Taren and I had when we were little. She looked soo pretty!

Girlfriends and Family!

Macey has been so lucky to have wonderful gilfriends/family in her life! Her cousin, Camdyn, is such a little doll and they seem to enjoy one another more and more when they're together. The pics below show Cam and Macey laying together, holding hands, and Cam grabbing Macey's face. Cam gets so excited when Macey lays beside her! I look forward to the day when they can do everything together! Taren and I have it all planned out! Swimming lessons, dance, cheer, school, etc!
I can't wait for them to look back at these pics and laugh! What a wonderful way to raise a daughter with another "daughter" I consider my own!

Macey has a WONDERFUL babysitter named Ashley, who also has a daughter, Emma. I'm so thankful that God has brought Ashley and Emma into our lives! Emma and Macey lounge around together and Emma has even taken on the role as "Big Sis" as she reads a book to Mace.

Two older half-sisters bring much entertainment into Macey's world. Life is a bit different when the two enter the house! Macey is used to the quiteness of her home, but LOVES to smile and be loved by Haley and Kendall. Everyone thinks Kendall and Macey favor and I would have to agree. Kendall holds such a big place in my heart and I can't wait to see how much her older sister's teach her! In November, we're going to take Christmas pics as a family and I can't wait to dress "The Blondes",and Macey in their tutu's for a photo shoot! Derrick has always said "We have so much to be thankful for!"

Lakepointe Dedication Service

I recently joined the blog world to keep family and friends updated on the life of my angel, Macey.
Last night, we dedicated her in front of my parents, church, and God, as a symbol of Derrick and I's love for eachother and to raise our daughter in a christian home. We chose the verse from Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
