Sleepy head

Over here at our house, having a 2 year old, and moving her to a bigger bed, was a BIG mistake. :)
She's now in and out of our room constantly! We moved her room upstairs, so she's constantly crawling down the stairs, etc. We have now resorted to her sleeping on the floor in our bedroom. This may sound terrible, but she thinks it's a slumber party!

We have told her to not come downstairs. So, this is where we found her.




She rarely takes an afternoon nap now, so this is where we find her.




Sister just got her first hair cut. She just got a trim, and our hair dresser sprayed a strand of pink! My pics are on my other camera, but here are a few I have on my current one.

Thankful

As I'm winding down for the night, I was looking at some blogs and I always check in with Kellys Korner, and she frequently puts prayer requests on her blog. I came across Brie's story. It appears she passed away a couple of days ago. She was 7 months pregnant, and has two younger daughters. She wrote that her husband is currently a coach in Amarillo, Tx.

It breaks my heart to look at pictures on her blog from just days ago, and now she's gone.

It can all be gone in an instant.

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year! The best gift I got was a 3 month old little rolly polly! On Christmas Eve, we celebrated the afternoon with Derrick's mother and Aunt. We ate some snacks, and opened gifts. That night, we went to my Aunt's and spent Christmas Eve eating dinner and opening gifts!

Christmas Day, Santa came and brought the girls some goodies, and we spent the day at my parents house!! Here are some pics!

Thinking outside the box

My cousin, Brandi, has the most amazing, and "outside of the box," way of thinking when it comes to home decor. I've NEVER seen anything like her house, and I was able to capture her home with my new camera.
