Happy 2009!
Over the past 2 weeks, I've had so much fun with my family! I've enjoyed every second with Macey and I hate to see it end.
We go back tomorrow and Miss Macey is off to see Ms. Ashley and Emma! We've missed those two blondes!
On New Years Eve, we stayed in Rockwall and tried to go to Salt Grass. At 5:30 p.m., there was an hour wait! SO, we headed to our favorite, Edohana, for a delicious hibachi meal! Later that night, D and I discreetly shared a pitcher of beer and limeade:)Woo Hoo!
New Years Day, we spent time with Derrick's mother and his side of the family. Macey wore her precious piggy outfit Aunt Jan made. We ate and opened some last minute presents!
Nana C gave us a funnel cake maker, so D made us some great funnel cakes! We all stuffed our faces!
D decided to take down our lights and we enjoyed a walk in the 80 degree Texas weather! Now it's raining and icesicles have formed everywhere! Only in TEXAS! As the weekend came to a close, Derrick and I went and saw, Marley and Me. I think I cried for 10 minutes straight. Such a great movie.
~Have a great week!
New Years Day with Nana!
My to-go box :)
Derrick draws this same "Man" on everything! He primarily calls me by my middle name, but sometimes Candy or Candy Cane.
