Christmas 2008
We've had such a great week off already! I'm sad that I have to return to school next week, but Christmas has been so much fun!
2 weekends ago, we took the girls to The Great Wolfe Lodge. We had such a good time relaxing. Derrick and I took turns watching Macey, while we ran around in the luke warm water, and I even rode a tube ride with the girls! My pics didn't turn out so well, but it was a fun getaway.
Before Christmas, Ella and Ms. Amanda invited us over for a Christmas P.J. party! Macey loved hanging with Barrett and we got some shots of the babies sitting beside one another. I love getting together with everyone and letting the kids interact and enjoy one another!
Christmas Eve, D had to work, but Macey and I had a blast with family and it's neat to see Miss Cam and Macey share these holiday memories together. They were both dolled up in their "fur." We spent our night at Aunt Denise's in Dallas.
Christmas Day, D was off, so we had the girls and I took some snapshots of all of us on Christmas Day. We enjoyed a day with Nana B, Aunt Jan, and Grandma. We later went to my mom's, Nana C, where we had a gift exchange and ate a non-traditional Cajun Christmas lunch.
After Church on Sunday, I got the girls to pose by our tree so I could have some pics with them in their pillow case dresses Aunt Jan made. Macey's headband is nearly covering her face, but I wanted a shot of her little "snow bunny" outfit. :)
Aunt Jan also made the "First Christmas" onesie for Macey. So cute!
Today, Macey turns 7 months old! We just recently got her a big girl chair, so now she can eat her meals with the rest of us!
As the year comes to a close, I'm sad to see it go. 2008 has been the best year. Derrick and I shared another year of our lives together, and we welcomed a new baby girl into the world. It's been very monumental, but I'm excited to see what 2009 has in store for our family.
God Bless and have a safe New Year!

Last weekend, we took the girls to meet Santa! It was a really quick snapshot; it wasn't very eventful. Macey didn't seem to interested in him anyway. Maybe next year!
I took some pics of Macey when I woke her up one morning. She managed to squirm that one arm out!
Lately, she's been greeting me each morning. We're going to have to lower her bed because she now climbs up and waits for me to come get her! I joke with Derrick because I'll peek in her room and know immediately when she's awake because I see that brown head bobbing up and down.
On Sunday, Derrick took me to my first Cowboy game for our anniversary. He treated me to P.F. Changs before, and then I got some "Cowboy" peanuts to snack on during the game. We had so much fun! I probably watched the cheerleaders more than the game though! Except when Tony was close by :)
In another life, I was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and Taren and Ashley were on the squad as well! :)
As for the weekend, we're going to the Great Wolf Lodge! Baby girl will be joining us. I hope it's not a disaster ;)
Have a great weekend! One more week until Christmas!

Merry Christmas
We recently had our family photos done for our holiday Christmas cards. It was a chilly day, but we managed to get through it! Macey was not too happy with us; Poor babe was cold.
Here are some shots Ms. Tena took.
