New posts!

Check out my baby girl's b-day post down below!

I have a lot on my mind lately. Now that school is out, I'm able to focus on my daughter, my son, my husband. FAMILY. I've searched for new recipes to cook for them, so I thought I would attach the following pics! Can you believe it!? :) I'm not one to post the things I cook because it's usually just ordinary food, take-out, or simply out to eat. I must change this mindset! I need to create weekly menus, especially beginning in September. My, how things are going to change.......

With all of this being said, I have a heavy heart about the following:
For whatever reason, I feel as if I'm entitled to have whatever it is I desire. I always want more for my kids than for myself. I constantly think about their little rooms I'm wanting to create for them, the cutest onesies I saw, the cutest shoes I saw for her, what I don't have, what I need, if only I could afford this, but oh my, I have to have this! Why does the list continue to go on and on? When is enough, ENOUGH!!!

Just a little venting to the blog world......
Here's my food :)

PEACH CRISP

Cream Cheese covered in Apricot Preserves w/jalepenos & Ritz Crackers
(My Mom's recipe. I crave it daily!)

Chicken Fettucine with Mushrooms

Happy Birthday Macey!

My sweet baby girl just turned 2 at the end of May! We had a blast planning, and creating a small little buffet of candy for the kids to take home. We had a doll house bounce house, along with a snow cone machine. We were joined by wonderful family and friends! Thank all of you who were able to come! I'm thinking from now on though, we need to have her b-days indoors or at a pool. It's too hot in Texas!!!

Big girl got her first Radio Flyer tricycle for her b-day! We chose a retro red/cream bike for her and Tanner to share. It has a guidance pole attached, since she's a bit little to steer and peddle at the same time.

After her b-day at our house, we had a little summer celebration at Nana's for Memorial Day and her b-day. She had a Dora cake, and her and Cam swam outside! They had a blast. Attached are pics of her cake, blowing out candles, etc.

The remainder of pictures are summer time photos at the pool. I hope to be there everyday :)

We just switched her bed too. I'm trying to get her used to sleeping in it before Tanner is in her crib. My little girl is growing up :(

I think that's it for now. We've had a traumatic episode with a "bun bun" aka "rabbit" around our neighborhood. He's usually out each night, and if he gets too close, sister screams, and shakes. I got a convo with her about him. That's soon to come!

Looking ahead at posts to come: decorating around the house, food, Tanner, and misc.
