Elmo, Galveston, & Birthday fun!

Why have I not posted in a month you ask?
Accordian to Webster, here's why......

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a severe form of morning sickness, with "unrelenting, excessive pregnancy-related nausea and/or vomiting that prevents adequate intake of food and fluids."[1] Hyperemesis is considered a rare complication of pregnancy but, because nausea and vomiting during pregnancy exist on a continuum, there is often not a good diagnosis between common morning sickness and hyperemesis. Estimates of the percentage of pregnant women afflicted range from 0.3% to 2.0%.[2]

After a trip to the e.r., I now have the morning sickness under control, I think. This pregnancy has been way different than Macey, so I know it's not over.

Now, for pics, here are Macey and Cam's trip to see Elmo. They had such a great time. We went Feb. 27 and our Elmo balloon just died today, March 27th. Longest lasting balloon I've ever seen.

For Spring Break, we went to Galveston and stayed at Moody Gardens. It was a bit chilly for my taste, but we really did have a great time. We ate at Salsas, Tortuca, Rainforest Cafe, Ben & Jerry's, and even ordered in my favorite, Papa John's with garlic butter sauce please! :) We loved going downtown and looked around at some neat little shops, where we found an ice cream parlor and Macey got the longest sucker in America and we ate buffalo chicken pizza at the restaurant, Yaga's. We walked around the beach on Sea Wall and just checked everything out since Hurricane Ike.

Lastly, we recently enjoyed the morning donut party for Ella's 2nd birthday.

Stay tuned for......

1. Easter
2. Baby gender reveal!
3. Cam's 2nd birthday!
4. Preparation for Macey's "sweet shoppe" birthday celebration!
5. END OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!
