Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly… sign up: http://bit.ly/sfly2010

I'm unable to link it up on blogger, so copy and paste link into the search bar for more details!

How could anyone pass up this offer! Over the past two years, I have purchased our 2008 & 2009 family Christmas cards from Shutterfly! The quality of their cards have always been great! Their selection is awesome! They have so many different cards to choose from. This year, I'm looking for a card that has a bigger family photo with a number of smaller ones around it. After taking family pics, there's so many pictures to choose from, and shutterfly offers the option of choosing one picture or up to 6 pictures!!! Last year, I chose a matte finish for our card. In 2009, I chose a glossy finish for a dressier look. Which one is my fav., I don't know! With the type of pictures we took this year, I will probably choose a matte finish, since our pics are kind of earthy, and woodsy.

Shutterfly offers great discounts as well. Offers include free shipping, 20% off, and of course, free holiday cards!!!!!

Since I've uploaded my cards with them in previous years, I'm still able to see what I did for my 2008 & 2009 Christmas card! It's a great way to look back at what kind of pictures I chose, and color schemes. Now, for 2010, I know what kind of look I want and what I have/haven't done already!

For both years, I have chosen a red flat card, but I'm loving their brown and turquoise choices, and I may possibly consider a folded card. I'd also like our card to say, "Merry Christmas," as opposed to "Happy Holidays." I want the spirit of Christmas to shine through, and Shutterfly offers one of my favorite cards with both sayings!!!! What great versatility!

Here are some of the cards I love!

Finally, Shutterfly offers photo books, and "wall art," as well. You can turn your favorite picture into canvas art. How beautiful! Take a look at their website! The options are endless!!

Merry Christmas! :)

So far behind!

OMG! I haven't posted in forever!!!
I plan on posting halloween pics soon! Tomorrow, we have family pics, so me & Macey are going to find some crochet headbands this afternoon. I love taking family pictures, but I should have been on a diet :(
On another note, Tanner got his FIRST hair cut!!!! He was 7 weeks old!!!! His hair has been out of control, so derrick buzzed it! Pics to follow!

The pics below have consumed my life. I'm hoping to copy the photography pics tomorrow, and the last house is our "dream" home. :)

P.S. If I don't eat today and tomorrow, will I lose the 10-15 pounds I need to shed?
Have a great weekend!

Note* out of control hair!

I got this in blue. Isn't this the sweetest thing?

Sigh.... the most glorious hammock ever. I didn't get the hammock, but I got a blanket like this to fit in a wooden bowl. So sweet.

Hello home! We love this style, but our home will be quite smaller than this. 20% stone, 80% brick. Just like my teen idol Debbie Gibson sang, "Only in my dreams.. as real as it may seem... it was only in my dreams."

Stuff

Does anyone feel like "stuff" is taking over their house? Thinking about the possibility of moving in our future overwhelms me at all the "stuff" I'm going to have to pack up, sift through or throw away. I find tremendous satisfaction in throwing things away. I'm the opposite of a hoarder. I find no sentimental value in most things. This may be terrible, but I don't. I keep some special things in "memory" boxes, but I don't like "stuff" all over my refrigerator, hanging up in rooms, collecting dust on shelves, on top of dressers, thrown in a million toy boxes, etc. Something is wrong with me :)

Anyone else facing this dilemma?

The State Fair, Firemen Day!

I'm so enjoying my time home with my babies! At Mother's Day Out this week, they had firemen come and show the kids their suits and fire trucks! In the spirit of things, we had to sport our DFD fire shirt! Macey's teachers said her shirt was a hit! :)

On Wednesday, we took the kids to the fair! Although we didn't eat anything fun but cotton candy, Macey had a great time getting to ride some rides! This was Tanner's first State Fair! I'm secretly wanting to go back and get a fried snickers, and a fried oreo.

Lastly, we just purchased some land and CHECK OUT THE VIEW!!!! We don't know what our plans are quite yet, but someday, I hope to have a fabulous house with a swimming pool and a view!

Have a great weekend! Derrick and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary this weekend! So ready to get dressed, eat and see a movie!!!

Bath time!
