It's time!

Dear Tanner,

Today, your momma has been so excited to pack your things, and get everything ready to go for your arrival!
Here's how today went:

Morning: Made your daddy, myself, and sissy some cinnamon rolls. Daddy installed your carseat. I got dressed and your sissy and I grabbed some lunch, dropped off library books, and went to Target to get your mirror so I can see your beautiful face while I drive.
Afternoon: Sissy took a nap, while I sterilized your bottles, nipples, and paci's. I washed a few more of your clothes too. I packed some more, and got your boppy lounger, diaper bag & boppy loaded in the car.
Tonight: Daddy, Sissy, and I went to Chilis. We shared chips, salsa, and a side of ranch. Daddy and I had to get a big dr.pepper too! For Dinner, daddy ordered chicken tacos, and mommy had cajun chicken pasta. Sissy shared with momma, and had some of daddy's rice. I painted your sissy's toe nails so she would look so pretty for you tomorrow!

As I sit here, it's late and I just can't wait to finally see you! You're moving around as I type. I love you sweet, sweet baby. I can't wait to lay you on my chest and love on you forever.

Happy Birthday sweet baby. 9.10.10

Nick Jr.'s Story Time!

Our weeks are getting closer and closer until baby T makes his arrival! I'm wanting the next two weeks to hurry up, but I guess I should be enjoying my sleep and a somewhat independent toddler while it lasts! :)

We started our first week of school, and let me say, I'm L.O.V.I.N.G it! Part-time with a newborn and toddler is going to be the best thing that I've ever done. I can stay busy with school, but make it home to enjoy my days with my sweet babies in the afternoon. Much needed sleep will take place during this time as well! How I will ever go back to full-time, I don't know :) My checkbook will probably tell me otherwise.

The pics below are some I've taken around the house. Macey loves to paint, and if you'll notice, she has rubber bands on her wrists. Why she feels the need to put these on all the time, I don't know. I got her some silly bandz, but she insists on rubber bands. I'll say, "O.k., you ready to go?" and she'll reply, "o.k., mom, let me put my rubber bands on." She has them on in the various pics below.

This is Kendall's hair. Growing up, I was the queen of curls, so Kendall often requests sponge rollers now for school too. The girls have been decked out this past week. I got these sparkly shoes at Children's Place. I think Macey needs some too! Retail Me Not has been my best friend!
About the hair, can you get more glorious mounds of curls? I've always been addicted to big Texas hair, even though God gave me NONE. :)

Our library books!

NICK JR.'S STORY TIME!! We sported our Olivia shirt just to REPRESENT! She wasn't there, but we loved seeing BackYardigans, Wonder Pets, Ni Hao, & Dora. Sister had a great time! Also, you'll see she has socks on.... she refused to wear her sketchers, so we changed to sandals. Please Tanner, don't be a drama king when it comes to clothes or shoes! :)

Lastly, this precious outfit was given to us by Nana. She wore it to church, and I couldn't help but take a million pics. She's making some goofy faces though. Sissys came this morning so she has been WOUND up.

I spy pink toes & white sandals hiding behind my curtains!!

Have a great week! I'm getting some beautification at the end of the week! Roots done, & a pedicure. Looking forward to a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend! Enjoy!

P.S. I haven't uploaded most of my pictures since Macey was around 6 months old. BUT, I did go to Cutest Blog on the Block and uploaded the blog into a book! It was the easiest thing, and for $50.00, I have a 95 page hard cover book to look back on. I did the first year of her life. I will do 1-2 years soon.
I will take some pics of it later.

BYE!

Olivia!

I'm in love with this pig! We watch her faithfully, read her books, and I just bought the DVD, "Olivia takes Ballet." I saw a shirt at Target and HAD to buy it for Macey! We are going to Nick Jr.'s Story Time next weekend, and sadly, Olivia won't be there, but we're wearing the shirt in support of her anyway! :)

School is about to start, and I'm about 20 days out until we welcome our beautiful baby boy!!!!! Many exciting things are happening. I don't have any pics to share, but I may take some of Macey tomorrow.

Have a restful weekend. Come on FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this Texas heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got some of these printed for my classroom!

Corral

I can't get enough of turquoise. A precious store here sells these Turquoise Corral Vintage boots for 200.00 and more. I think these are too cute, and being from Texas, they're fitting :) The picture of Jessica makes me want them more! After baby, I need to lose weight, and try and find a replica of these boots! :)
If you come across some similar and MUCH cheaper, let me know!

Anything like Me

Taylor posted this song and how much she loved it. It's soooo sweet! I can't wait to have a little boy in the house!

By Brad Paisley.

I remember sayin I dont care either way
Just as long as he or she is healthy Im ok
Then the doctor pointed to the corner of the screen
And said Ya see that thing right there well ya know what that means

And I started wondering who he was going to be
And I thought heaven help us if hes anything like me
Hell probably climb a tree to tall and ride hes bike to fast
End up every summer wearin something in a cast
Hes gonna throw a ball and break some glass in a window down the street
Hes gonna get in trouble oh hes gonna get in fights
Im gonna lose my temper and some sleep
It safe to say that im gonna get my pay back if hes anything like me

I can see him right now knees all skinned up
With a magnifying glass tryin to melt the Tonka truck
Wont he be a sight with his football helmet on
Thatll be his first love til his first love comes along
Hell get his heart broke by the time hes in his teens
And heaven help him if hes anything like me

Hell probably stay out to late and drive his car to fast
Get a speeding ticket hell pay for mowing grass
Hes gonna get caught skippin class and be ground for a week
Hes gonna get in trouble were gonna get in fights
Im gonna lose my temper and some sleep
Its safe to say that im gonna get my pay back if hes anything like me

Hes gonna love me and hate me along the way
Years are gonna fly by I already dread the day
Hes gonna hug hes momma hes gonna shake my hand
Hes gonna act like he cant wait to leave
But as he drives out hell cry hes eyes out
If hes anything like me there's worse folks to be like
Aw hell be alright if hes anything like me

Halloween, 2010

Two posts in one day!
For some reason, I'm so excited to look at halloween costumes and I've been glancing at cute matching costumes for my two kids!! I L.O.V.E. saying that!!!!

I'm thinking Pumpkins! Nothing better than a feminine pumpkin fairy, along with a rolly polly bundled up baby boy pumpkin!

Great Wolf

We had our final family outing for a night to enjoy the water parks at Great Wolf Lodge. I didn't get too many pictures, but I was able to snap a few. I've also caught some pics of the kids around the house, outside with some neighbors, and celebrating Daddy's birthday!!! It's been miserable hot, and our temp. showed that our back porch was 120 degrees! UGH!

Have a great week! We are enjoying our last week before in-service starts!
